AHA! Night, downtown New Bedford, March 8th theme: "Hear Me Roar!"

MARCH 8 - International Women's Day - Free Screening of Miss Representation, depicting Women in the Media

Join us at the New Bedford Whaling Museum at 6:00PM for the first ever screening in New Bedford of Miss Representation, a documentary from the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, followed by a short discussion with local experts.

The event will end with cocktails, appetizers and networking for International Women's Day. The Women's Center, the Women's Fund, YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts and UMASS Dartmouth Women's Studies Program and Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality are collaborating on this free event for AHA! Night.
